Indian Spiced Chicken Kebabs
Succulent chicken breast pieces marinated in Indian spices and yoghurt making, a very quick and delicious summer meal. Chicken thigh meat is great to use too, and possibly more tasty and succulent than breast meat. Use less chilli powder or cayenne pepper if you prefer less kick, although the amount in this recipe won't have you gasping for water! If you do not have all the spices in your store cupboard, don't worry, just substitute all of the spices with curry powder.

A simple and economical soup which is quick to make. Use oil instead of butter for a dairy free version.

A perfect way to use up all those leftover pieces of cheese in your fridge. All types of cheese can be used. It will keep for a week in the fridge and is a great vegetarian recipe. Serve on toast or in a baked potato.

A fresh and summery salad which is just delicious by itself or as part of a mezze style meal. Tabbouleh is usually made with bulghur wheat but quinoa makes a great change and is also gluten free.

Rice Pudding
This is a traditonal rice pudding recipe, nothing fancy but is a lot lower in fat than our other full cream recipe. You bake it in the oven - it takes minutes to prepare and two hours to cook. Well worth the wait! Try adding a bay leaf or some lemon zest for an exciting and interesting flavour.

Roasted Pumpkin Soup
The perfect way to use up the flesh of pumpkins or squashes. Substitute carrots for other root veg if you fancy. This recipe also makes a good sauce for gnocchi and goes well with a grating of Parmesan cheese.

Roasted Rhubarb and Orange Compote
You can't beat the flavour and colour of the new seasons' forced rhubarb. Look out for it in January when it brings a welcome lift to the seasonal fruit offering. Eat this compote on yoghurt for breakfast, or with rice pudding, or on top of a cheesecake or just enjoy it as it is.

Vanilla and Orange Mascarpone Cheesecake
A very easy cheesecake recipe. Try adding lime or lemon to the mixture instead of orange. Top with any fruit of your choice or eat it as it is. Delicious with our roasted rhubarb and orange compote.
